#AYearOfBuses 47: Lincoln – Newark

No, that’s not a Stagecoach hybrid you’re looking at. It’s today’s winner – day 47 – on #AYearOfBuses.

In 2013, PC Coaches of Lincoln received Green Bus funding from the UK government to buy two Alexander Dennis Enviro400 hybrids for its small network of routes running out of the city. They regularly appear on the 47, which connects Lincoln with Newark in a journey time of around two hours.

The pair of buses wear a green and white livery adorned with leaves, reflecting their green credentials. At first glance, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d spotted one of Stagecoach’s own hybrids – there’s certainly more than a striking resemblance in their design!

How many differences can you count?
