#AYearOfBuses 347: Liverpool – Crossens

Welcome to day 347 on #AYearOfBuses – and a coastal bus route linking Southport with the city of Liverpool.

Arriva’s 47 runs from Crossens, just north of Southport town centre, with Southport, the Royal Birkdale Gold Club, Formby, Crosby, Bootle and Liverpool city centre.

At Formby, you’ll find the world famous Formby and Crosby beaches – complete with those Antony Gormley sculptures – and the National Trust red squirrel sanctuary at Formby, one of the few remaining places in England where you can see red squirrels in abundance.
