It’s day 300 on #AYearOfBuses! To celebrate, we’re taking a look at an all-electric Park & Ride network in Surrey.
Stagecoach’s Guildford Electrics fleet hit the roads earlier in 2019. Nine fully-electric BYD ADL Enviro200EV buses, each with a range of up to 150 miles and featuring mod cons such as free WiFi and USB power can now be found on the town’s Park & Ride bus routes.
Rather unexpectedly for a town nestled within the deepest reaches of Surrey, there are four bus routes – and four Park & Ride sites – to choose from. They are the 100 to Spectrum, the 200 to Artington, the 300 to Merrow (technically today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses), and the 400 to Onslow.
