Day 290 on #AYearOfBuses takes us once more to Kent – to the major port of Dover, in fact!
Though Stagecoach’s 90 links the former fishing, mining and garrison town of Deal with nearby Dover, on the Kent coast, it’s not the most direct route. (For that, you’ll want the 80, which we conveniently featured on day 80 of #AYearOfBuses)!
But it doesn’t mean the 90 is any less picturesque. From Deal, it runs along Deal Road, before arriving on the outskirts of Dover and veering to the north of the town, from where it performs a circuit around the town’s estates before looping down into the town centre.
