We’re taking a trip within spitting distance of mainland Europe today on #AYearOfBuses – hop aboard Stagecoach East Kent’s route 80 to Dover.
Combined with its sister route, the 81, Stagecoach’s 80 runs every 30 mins between Sandwich and Dover. It takes a scenic route along the coast, dipping into the former fishing, mining and garrison town of Deal, with its long but slightly underwhelming pier, before the spectacular coastal views emerge over St Margarets at Cliffe, Dover Castle and the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover.
