Today on #AYearOfBuses, we’re taking a look at a scenic bus route from Greater Manchester into the heart of Rossendale.
Rosso’s route 273 runs once early in the morning, and twice during the evening rush hours to connect Bolton with Bradshaw, Hawkshaw, Holcombe Brook, Ramsbottom, and Edenfield with Ramsbottom, creating a vital link with Greater Manchester from across Lancashire.
It’s a splendidly scenic route too, skirting Walves Reservoir as it cross the snow-prone moors on its way over to the high grounds and valleys of Rossendale.
