A magical new dawn for the Caledonian Sleeper

A magical new dawn for the Caledonian Sleeper

You’d be hard pressed to find a more magical experience than the Caledonian Sleeper.

Caledonian Sleeper’s new Mk5 trains have now hit the rails, and to wave goodbye to the outgoing fleet of trains, they’ve commissioned a new series of rail posters to commemorate the exciting transition.

The series of exquisite posters, produced by Kevin Biggins in the studios of global comms agency, Weber Shandwick, illustrate the unique destinations served by the Caledonian Sleeper.

There are six in total, celebrating London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Firth of Forth, Fort William and Dundee. Each of the dramatic illustrations are simply timeless – set between dusk and dawn, they feature glorious lighting and a stunning colour palette, combining together to create a sumptuously-atmospheric piece of artwork.

And what about the trains themselves?

Essentially hotel rooms on wheels, the Mk5s offer an unrivalled travel experience. Already the most civilised way to travel between Scotland and London, the new trains feature a range of rooms packed with features, from Caledonian Doubles, complete with Glencraft double bed and en-suite, to comfort seats and accessible rooms for those with reduced mobility.

The interiors are tastefully designed, featuring multiple charging points, dimmable lighting, a personal thermostat and a soft, warm and welcoming colour palette throughout.
