#AYearOfBuses 269: Winchester – Fareham

What has to be one of Hampshire’s most scenic bus routes is today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses.

Stagecoach in Hampshire’s 69 starts its journey in the King’s City – the medieval cathedral city of Winchester, where King Arthur’s round table resides, in the Great Hall of Winchester Castle.

From Winchester, it snakes its way through Hampshire towards Fareham, passing Twyford, Fair Oak and Bishops Waltham, the medieval market town situated at the source of the River Hamble at the foot of the South Downs National Park.
