#AYearOfBuses 160: South Downs Chichester – Midhurst

Stagecoach’s leisurely route through the South Downs National Park is today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses.

Starting from the small market town of Midhurst, nestled in the South Downs National Park, the 60 sets off on a scenic 12-mile stroll towards Chichester. After leaving Midhurst, it runs through the tiny village of Singleton, with Weald & Downland, the open air museum a particular highlight. From there, it visits Lavant, close to the Kingley Vale Nature Reserve,  and on to the historic city of Chichester, complete with its historic Roman remains.

The route is home to a fleet of route-branded Enviro400s featuring a Best Impressions-designed, swooping green livery featuring stunning illustrations of the scenic South Downs.
