Get ready to ride Red4 for free on Sundays!
First trialled in Harrogate with the Harrogate Electrics, Transdev are now rolling out their popular #SundayFreeway concept further afield.
All through June and July, Red4, from Rosso, will be FREE for all each and every Sunday. Featuring recently-revitalised high-spec Volvo B7RLEs, Red4 links Ramsbottom with the Greater Manchester market town of Bury, renowned worldwide for its famous black puddings. Each Red 4 bus has quilted leather seating, free WiFi and USB power at every seat, and a designer livery courtesy of Ray Stenning at Best Impressions.
Rosso Operations Manager Tony Fiocca said: “We’re offering free travel on Sundays to celebrate the success of Red 4 since we introduced our top-specification, leather-seated buses last September. The reaction from our customers since then has been amazing, with 30% more people travelling since last year.
“Our £1 Wednesday travel deal at the end of last year was very popular, so now we’re going even further by offering free travel for everyone throughout the route on Sundays in June and July”.
