#AYearOfBuses 94: Cheltenham – Gloucester

Fancy sitting next to a secret agent? Stagecoach’s Gold 94 links the twin cities of Cheltenham and Gloucester, with a brief stop at the GCHQ headquarters…and it’s our winner today here on #AYearOfBuses.

Interestingly, Stagecoach Gold 94 runs 24hrs a day, 6 days a week, and up to every 10 mins during the daytime – a fantastically high frequency offering for such a high-spec bus route.

A fleet of 12 Alexander Dennis Enviro400MMCs were bought for the upgraded route in 2016, featuring free WiFi, USB power and the usual array of Gold-spec luxuries – it was previously home to a fleet of (also Gold-spec) ADL-bodied Scania double deckers.
