#AYearOfBuses 319: Barnstaple – Hartland & Bude

Today’s day 319 on #AYearOfBuses, and that’s cause enough to celebrate one of Devon’s most spectacular bus routes.

Stagecoach South West’s 319 runs from the former river port of Barnstaple, in North Devon, along the Hartland Heritage Coast road to the village of Hartland, on the picturesque Hartland peninsula.

After Hartland, some buses continue to Bude, taking in yet more spectacular scenery as they cross into northeast Cornwall. Journey time between Barnstaple and Hartland is around 1hr 20mins, with a guaranteed connection at Hartland, and on to Bude in just under 40 mins.
