#AYearOfBuses 289: Potterspury – Milton Keynes

Previously a Stagecoach route, today on #AYearOfBuses we’re taking a look at Milton Keynes’ 89.

Previously a Stagecoach route, though no more. A winding, half-rural, half-town route, the 89 dots its way across MK and the Northamptonshire countryside, linking the town with Wolverton, Stony Stratford, Cosgrove, Potterspury, and on to Towcester.

Though Stagecoach couldn’t make it work commercially, the 89 is an important link for the rural villages between Towcester and Milton Keynes – indeed, it’s their only link for the most part.
