#AYearOfBuses 285: Bangor – Llanberis

Time for a change of scenery! We’re taking a trip to Snowdonia for day 285 on #AYearOfBuses.

Gwynfor Coaches route 85 is a stunning, scenic shuffle through North Wales, taking a winding path from the town of Bangor, to Deiniolen and the tranquil village of Llanberis, at the foot of Snowdon.

Llanberis is the gateway to Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, and as you’d expect, is a hub for outdoor activities including walking, mountaineering, climbing, mountain biking and pony trekking!

Until recently an Arriva route, tiny Welsh independent Gwynfor Coaches now handle the route on behalf of Gwynedd Council.
