#AYearOfBuses 282: X82 Eldon Square – Throckley

We’re heading back to Newcastle for day 282 on #AYearOfBuses!

Stagecoach’s X82 runs from the city’s Eldon Square bus station to Throckley, where the main road crossing the village – Hexham Road – marks where Hadrian’s Wall once passed through.

Running fast between Eldon Square and Denton Burn, all manner of Volvo, MAN and Scania single decker buses have frequented the route over the years, including these fairly rare Alexander PS-bodied Scania N113s.
