#AYearOfBuses 268: MAX Wakefield – Bradford

It’s day 268 on #AYearOfBuses – and we’re taking a look at another of Arriva’s MAX routes in Yorkshire!

MAX 268 is a beast of a route, cutting a large swathe across West Yorkshire to link the cathedral city of Wakefield, and the towns of Ossett, Dewsbury, Heckmondwike and Cleckheaton with Bradford. End to end journey time is around 1hr 45 mins, with buses featuring free WiFi and eLeather seats on board.

In Bradford, you’ll find the spectacular 1426-seater Alhambra theatre, built in 1914 and still hosting entertainment from ballet, opera and comedy, to pantomimes and musicals. And directly opposite is the National Science and Media Museum, dedicated to exploring the transformative impact of image and sound technologies on our lives.
