#AYearOfBuses 233: Woodstock – Burford

Stagecoach Oxfordshire 233

Which end of the 233 will you visit? From charming Woodstock (no,not that one) through to Burford, Stagecoach in Oxfordshire’s 233 has something for everybody.

It’s day 233 on #AYearOfBuses!

Woodstock in Oxfordshire is the starting point for Stagecoach’s scenic 233, and straight away you’re in for a treat. Woodstock is home to UNESCO World Heritage Site Blenheim Palace, principal residence of the Dukes of Marlborough, and the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace.

From Woodstock, the 233 takes a scenic route across West Oxfordshire, linking the town with Witney – the former constituency of past Prime Minister David Cameron – and Burford, a small, medieval town nestled deep in the Cotswold hills.
