We’re 223 days in on #AYearOfBuses and we haven’t yet featured a McGills route! Well today, that’s about to change.
McGills route 23, and its sister X23 – the ‘fast one’ – connect Erskine, Inchinnan (where there’s a McGills depot), Renfrew and Braehead with Glasgow city centre. There’s an even faster version too, the XP23, running fast down the M8 motorway from Erskine to Glasgow during the peaks.
The 23 and X23 received a luxury upgrade earlier in 2019, with a fleet of high-spec Alexander Dennis Enviro200MMCs featuring luxury seating and tinted windows as well as USB power and free WiFi on board for maximum productivity.
