Stagecoach London’s route 205 is today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses.
The 205 came to life in 2002, replacing the former StationLink 1 route, an accessible route for those with disabilities previously operated by National Bus Company-owned Beeline. The 205 replaced SL1 as part of a package of improvements ahead of the introduction of London’s congestion charge.
Cutting a swathe across central London, the 205 connects Paddington with Marylebone, Euston, King’s Cross and Liverpool Street stations, as well as many Underground stations on its 9 mile journey across the city.
