#AYearOfBuses 156: Wensleydale Voyager Leyburn – Hawes

We’re taking another foray deep into the Dales today on #AYearOfBuses.

The Little White Bus are a small community bus company, centred on Hawes in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. They run a number of routes connecting villages across the Dales, including the 156 – the Wensleydale Voyager.

Using a small fleet of mainly 16-seater Ford Transit minibuses, the Wensleydale Voyager runs Monday to Saturday providing a vital rural link between Leyburn, Aysgarth (where you’ll find incredible waterfalls), Askrigg and Hawes Market Place. Total journey time is just under one hour, set amongst some of the most splendid, untouched, pristine scenery the British Isles have to offer. On Sundays, the route is part of the DalesBus network.
