#AYearOfBuses 146: Norwich – Southwold

Day 146 on #AYearOfBuses takes us to Norwich, where there’s a hidden gem heading out to the east coast.

Border Bus 146 runs every 30 mins from the East Anglian city of Norwich to Beccles, Kessingland and the picture-perfect coastal town of Southwold, in Suffolk. Complete with its lighthouse, commissioned in 1890, the town sits at the foot of the Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the mouth of the River Blythe.

The 146 cuts a path straight through the low-lying Suffolk coastal nature reserves, with an end-to-end journey time from Norwich of around 1hr 20mins.
