#AYearOfBuses 122: Hop122 St Marychurch – Paignton Zoo

Hop up top with the Bus Hoppers! Stagecoach’s Hop122 is today’s feature here on #AYearOfBuses.

Strongly marketed towards families and children, Stagecoach South West’s Golden Hop122 open-top buses feature a range of friendly characters – the Bus Hoppers! Led by Gary the Rabbit, they travel a scenic route around Torbay between Babbacombe, St Marychurch, Torquay Harbour, Paignton and Paignton Zoo up to every 20 minutes, 7 days a week.

Each Golden Hop bus features a distinctive yellow livery with its very own ‘bus hopper’ animal character. Children (or indeed, adults) can pick up a Hop Adventurer’s Passport from the driver, showing where each of the Bus Hoppers ‘live’ along the route. At each location, children can pick up a sticker to complete their passport.

The Bus Hoppers are now so popular, they even have their own range of books!
