We’re using some more ‘creative license’ today on #AYearOfBuses, to feature Uno’s route 601 – recently relaunched as The Alban Way.
The Alban Way received an upgrade late in 2017, as Uno, the University of Hertfordshire-owned bus operator, embarked on a mission to focus their efforts on marketing a core of high profile routes.
Launched at the University’s College Lane Campus, The Alban Way received a fleet of revitalised Scania Omnidekkas, featuring USB chargers at every seat, new seating and superfast free WiFi onboard.
The route itself links the town of St Albans with Borehamwood, Radlett, Hatfield (including the University of Hertfordshire’s de Havilland Campus), and Welwyn Garden City. There are many connections to commuter rail stations into London, including Welwyn Garden City, St Albans City, St Albans Abbey and Radlett.
