#AYearOfBuses 93: MAX Middlesbrough – Whitby – Scarborough

Day 93 here on #AYearOfBuses takes us once again to the east coast for a trip on Arriva’s scenic X93.

Max X93 links the Teesside town of Middlesbrough, with Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough, with double decker buses offering splendid views along the North Yorkshire coast every 30 mins through the day.

Highlights along the way include the village of Staithes, a small but delightful fishing village on the border between the Borough of Scarborough and Redcar & Cleveland, and Whitby Abbey, the breathtaking ruined 7th-century Christian monastery-turned Benedictine abbey.
