#AYearOfBuses 9: X9 Newcastle – Middlesbrough

Today’s ‘super swanky’ entry for #AYearOfBuses is Go North East’s X9 and X10.

Connecting Newcastle with Gateshead and Middlesbrough, seven new Volvo B5TLs burst into life on the X9 and X10 during 2017. Representing an investment of £1.6million, they come packed with free WiFi, contactless payments, USB power and – interestingly – ‘gaming tables’, featuring popular casino favourites and snakes and ladders.

The X9 and X10 run fast every 30 mins between Newcastle, Gateshead and Middlesbrough, with the X10 stopping additionally at Dalton Park outlet in County Durham.
