#AYearOfBuses 338: Victoria – Clapton Pond

Can you believe it? We haven’t managed to feature London’s most frequent bus route yet on #AYearOfBuses.

Well today, we’re putting that right. The 38 is London’s most frequent bus route, with a bus scheduled up to every 2 minutes during the peaks. It links Clapton Pond with Islington Angel, Holborn, Piccadilly and Victoria, right at the heart of central London.

It also had the honour of hosting the prototype fleet of eight New Routemasters back in 2012, and was converted to full New Routemaster operation two years later in 2014.
