#AYearOfBuses 328: Taunton – Minehead

Today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses is a scenic Somerset bus route which comes complete with its own real ale guide!

First Buses of Somerset’s route 28 runs from the seaside resort of Minehead, Somerset, to Washford, Bishops Lydeard and Taunton, just a little further inland. It follows a route closely parallel to that of the West Somerset Railway – the longest heritage railway in England.

First have teamed up with the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) to produce the ‘Guide to Real Ale and Cider along Route 28‘ – listing 14 cracking pubs along the route serving real ale and cider.
