#AYearOfBuses 321: Sapphire Luton – Watford

Arriva Sapphire 321

3, 2, 1! Counting down the days until the end of our series, today’s day 321 on #AYearOfBuses.

Arriva’s Sapphire 321 is a high-profile bus route, linking the town of Luton with Harpenden, St Albans and Watford, in Hertfordshire. It runs through a mixture of long stretches of countryside and densely packed commuter towns, making it the perfect candidate for Arriva’s high-spec Sapphire branding.

It’s been home to some interesting buses over the years, too – including a small fleet of route branded, gas-powered Plaxton Prestige-bodied DAFs!
