#AYearOfBuses 294: Cardiff – Barry

From Carlisle yesterday, to Cardiff today – we’re heading back to South Wales for day 294 on #AYearOfBuses.

Cardiff Bus 94 is part of a group of bus routes linking the Welsh capital with Penarth and Barry, in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The 94 is particularly scenic, dipping south of Cardiff Bay through Penarth, with views over the glistening Severn Estuary. It also passes the hamlets of Sully and Lavernock – home to a sleepy WW2 gun battery overlooking the Bristol Channel at Lavernock Point.
