It’s day 293 on #AYearOfBuses, and today, we’re headed to the far reaches of North West England.
Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire’s 93 runs from the historic city of Carlisle, out towards Bowness on Solway, on the Solway Firth separating England and Scotland.
As well as passing some spectacular scenery on the way, Bowness on Solway has a host of attractions of its own for visitors. It’s home to the western end of Hadrian’s Wall, and sits within the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
