Day 288 on #AYearOfBuses takes us to pastures new – we’re heading to Ipswich!
First Eastern Counties’ 88 forms part of the Ipswich Reds frequent network centered on, erm…Ipswich. The 88 takes the good folk of Ipswich out of the city, fast and direct due northwest towards the market town of Stowmarket, via Needham Market.
The relatively young Ipswich Reds network is home to a fleet of two-tone red buses, featuring an attractive suite of branded timetables for each of the routes, with links from the centre of the city to Woodbridge, Martlesham, Aldeburgh and Felixstowe.
