Today’s winner on #AYearOfBuses is the holder of a very special award!
London United’s 281 runs from Hounslow, in Outer London, heading due south to Tolworth, in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. In 2006, the 281 went ’24 hours’, becoming London’s 100th night bus route.
As well as this particular accolade, the 281 has another quirk – on Twickenham match days, it finishes at Twickenham, with no buses running between Twickenham and Hounslow.
