Manchester’s main public transport link with the Trafford Centre is today’s winner on #AYearofBuses.
Since the Trafford Centre opened in 1998, Stagecoach Manchester has run the 250 between the gargantuan shopping centre and Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens. It runs every 5-10 mins, via Old Trafford and the industrial mecca of Trafford Park.
In recent years, it’s been joined by an express sibling, the X50, and it’s about to gain a heavy dose of competition from the impending Metrolink tram route to the Trafford Centre.
