#AYearOfBuses 234: Minnis Bay – Ramsgate

We’re off to Margate! It’s day 234 on #AYearOfBuses, and today we’re taking a trip to the seaside.

Stagecoach East Kent’s 34 links the secluded sandy beach at Minnis Bay in east Kent with buses every 15 mins to the nearby seaside resort of Margate.

Margate, of course, is famous for being the home of Dreamland, the amusement park packed with vintage rides – including the 1920-built Wooden Roller Coaster. From Margate, the 34 continues every half hour to nearby Ramsgate, one of the great southern seaside towns of the 19th century.
