#AYearOfBuses 231: Huddersfield – Wakefield

We haven’t featured a Yorkshire Tiger route for quite a while on #AYearOfBuses, so for day 231, we’re taking a look at their erm…231!

The 231 links Huddersfield with the nearby cathedral city of Wakefield, on the eastern edge of the Pennines in the heart of West Yorkshire. It takes a scenic route through Kirklees via Flockton, passing close to the National Coal Mining Museum and within spitting distance of the the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
