Today on #AYearOfBuses we’re heading back to the capital, for a look at one of the city’s most well-established bus routes.
Today in the hands of Go-Ahead London Central, the 176 is a 24 hour trunk route running through the heart of south London, connecting Penge, Forest Hill, Dulwich, Camberwell Green, Elephant & Castle and Waterloo with central London and the West End. It completes the 11-mile journey with a journey time anywhere between 45 and 90 mins!
It’s run from London Central’s Camberwell garage, with an eclectic mix of New Routemasters, Volvo B5LHs, MCV EvoSeti-bodied Volvos, and ADL Enviro400MMCs.
