Today on #AYearOfBuses, we’re taking a break from the norm, and heading over the water to one of our closest neighbours.
Dublin’s route 175 was the first route to be introduced by British bus group, Go-Ahead, after it won contracts to operate around 10% of the city’s bus network courtesy of Transport for Ireland. Go-Ahead Ireland began running new route 175 in September 2018, introducing a new blue, yellow, teal and white livery alongside a fleet of new Volvo B5TLs.
The route itself is a brand new route, connecting the main campus of University College Dublin at Belfield with Tallaght and Citywest, on the southern edge of the city.
