#AYearOfBuses 10: Aberdeen – Inverness

Route 10

10 coaches, 1 route. The 10. Day 10 of #AYearOfBuses takes us into Scotland for the first time – and it’s a cracker.

Standing at a whopping 4 hours and 10 minutes end-to-end, the 10 connects the two Scottish cities of Aberdeen and Inverness, via Elgin and Nairn. It’s run by Stagecoach with a fleet of 10 high-specification Volvo B11Rs with the stunningly-curvaceous Plaxton Elite bodywork, featuring free WiFi, USB power, toilets, leather seats and climate control on board.

And…what a route. Heading east out of Inverness, the 10 hugs the Moray Firth along the A96, before dropping into Elgin and heading south to Aberdeen through the spectacular Scottish highlands.

Check out this slick video from Stagecoach to whet your appetite.
